Claudette Hauiti. More interesting than the welfare speech.
Here's an interesting new candidate for National, Claudette Hauiti. I like her. And I don't think she is just mouthing platitudes when she talks about smaller government, less bureaucracy, more self-responsibility, and greater reward for hard work. But you would have to watch the video to get a sense of that for yourself.

Loved how the reporter kept questioning her expecting her to talk about being a lesbian. She didn't and repeated twice her Maori roots.
Then look at the headline.
Isnt there something more interesting with the news than some maori dyke lookin to flash her man--efesto?

We are constantly told that women's sexuality is more 'fluid'.
Perhaps this fluidity applies to political affiliations as well ? (:
